I never was a very good mother but I still loved my child, it just that… maybe I should explain from the beginning, the very beginning.

Roughly 16 years ago I gave birth to my daughter, Ally. I had just turned 25 and I wasn't ready to be a mother. So I left her when she was just 3 with my sister and aunt to take care of her. Now I know what you are thinking, 'How terrible of me to do such a thing to such a young child!', but I was scared, I didn't have great childhood and I couldn't really afford to feed and cloth her.

Time passed, and when I could afford it, I would buy her presents and what not for her birthdays and holidays. But one year, for her 5th birthday, my family got her Pokémon Yellow Version and Hey You Pikachu! for her, and needless to say she loved it. When I would come to visit her, she would be playing one of those two games. She always smiled while playing, as if they were real living things she would be playing with.

Around when she was seven did her cheerfulness being to fade, and she began to stay with me on the weekends and holidays, I would pick her up and she would be playing Hey You Pikachu! In her room with the door closed and with a small smile on her face, as if it was one of the few things that still brought her joy.

She also soon started to play other video games on different consoles, ranging from Playstation's Spyro to the Super Nintendo's Super Mario, even Xbox games. But she would still play Hey You Pikachu! and Pokémon Yellow Version when ever she had the chance.

And when I bought her a Playstation 2 one year, she was thrilled and began to play it nonstop when she was over at my place. But she wasn't as thrilled as when my family got her a Gameboy Advance, and when I got her Pokémon Emerald Version. These were some for those rare times that I saw her excited and happy.

Sadly though, that same year, she lost her Gameboy and Pokémon Yellow Version at my place, and my sister's new dog ate the microphone that went with the game Hey You Pikachu!

She was crushed by this, but still managed to still play Hey You Pikachu! with another microphone she found.

Needless to say, over the years she became a video game junkie and would spend most of her time and money on videogames. She also began sketching ideas for videogames, and from when she would let me see them, she was very good at it.

But a year or two ago, my family sold her Nintendo 64, and she became furious and had a fist fight with my sister. She then came to live with me, bringing all of her games and consoles with her. And I discovered when she wasn't playing one of her games; she would be cold and quite, either working on homework or drawing.

It was during our time together that I got a puppy and named him Jim-Jim. He is a playful golden reviver, and it gave me hope of getting her to warm up to me and be friendly. Big mistake, she apparently hated dogs, though I have no idea why. It was during this time when I wanted to get to know her and kind of mother her, but no matter what, she would shut me out.

But with the recession and barely being able to pay the bills, I told her we would have to move in with my sister and aunt. She, of course said she didn't care, but she did seem mad, but also seemed as if she understood why. And as we were moving, I noticed she still had that Hey You Pikachu! game, even though she didn't have a console for it. She was probably planning to buy another one in the future to play it again.

But as we had finished moving, she found her long lost Pokémon Yellow Version and Gameboy, and for the first time in a long while, she was happy.

The fact she found that game didn't improve her mood all that much, she avoid everyone and still be cold and quite. But I still wanted to be at least be friends with her, and the only thing she seemed willing to share info on that was going on her life was Pokémon.

'What does this have to do with Pokémon?' and 'Where's the creepiness?' are your thoughts right now aren't they? Well 3 months ago is when it all started.

Ally had left for school and I went into her room to get her dirty cloths when I noticed that her Gameboy was on. Curiously, I picked it up and wondered why she was still playing this game; she hadn't even finished her Pokémon Soulsilver Version from what she would tell me. Not to mention she probably finished this thing many times over, but I decide to be a little noisy and see why she still played and bought the Pokémon games.

I hit the start button and a menu cam up saying:

POKEDEX
POKEMON
ITEM
JACK
SAVE
OPTION
EXIT

I went through them and from what I could understand she had only 20 Pokémon, and seen 48 types, but only had 6 on hand, and named her character Jack who had 3 badges, and her Pikachu [one of the only Pokémon I know of] was named Pika.

I walked around and talked to characters and read some of the signs in the game and got some idea for what she did in the game. I found it boring, but I then walked into the tall grass and the music changed and the screen flashed.

A rat thing was on the top half of the screen and Pika was on the bottom. It gave me four options to choose from. I chose FIGHT, and I was taken to anther screen, giving me four other options, I chose the SLAM one. The rat thing attacked first, making the green bar become shorter. Pika's cry was sounded and the text 'Pika refuses to fight!' appeared. And no matter what move I chose it would refuse to do anything.

The green bar had turned red and a beeping sound could be heard from the game. I then chose RUN and the screen returned to the path with the tall grass. Pika's cry was sounded and the character turned around to face it. A screen popped up with Pika in it, and it looked angry, and Pika's cry was sounded, but the tone of it, it sounded angry.

The text box appeared and it said:

'Pika wants to know why.'

And I was given the options 'YES/NO', I chose no in fear that saying yes would unlock some sort of special event like Ally said happened in some of her games. The text then said:

'Pika wants you to leave!'

The game then turned itself off and no matter what I did, it wouldn't turn back on. I figured the batteries must have died. And I soon went to work, but that entire day I couldn't get what happened when I played my daughter's game out of my head.

A month passed and I basically forgot what had happen, but again I found her game on, while she was out and again I was curious what was happening in the game. Ally was on a path, surrounded by tall grass. I hit start and selected JACK, and it said that she had now 6 badges. I hit 'B' to exit the screen and walked into the tall grass. The same thing happened as the first time, but this time a bird thing appeared on top and a blue thing, with a bushy tail appeared on the bottom. I hit FIGHT and chose TACKLE, but the Pokémon [called Blaster] refused to attack, and like before, no matter what attack I chose, Blaster refused, and for some reason I couldn't run from the battle. Blaster soon ran out of the green bar, and fainted.

A new creature took its place, called Greentail, but the same thing happen, it refused to attack and ran out of the green bar, and fainted. The process continued with Drake, a red orange thing, Charlie, a purple horned thing, and Diglett, a brown potato looking thing. Pika then came out, and it refused to attack, but the bird thing fled, and the screen went black.

The screen then showed Pika as it did the POKEDEX, but it stilled looked mad, and the same sound played that was its cry when it was angry. The text box appeared and said:

'Pika wants to know why.'
'YES/NO'
This time, though I chose YES,  I don't know why though, maybe I figured that maybe I would figure out why Ally loved Pokémon still if I did, I really don't know though. The game then said:

'Pika wants to know why did you leave Ally?'

"Huh?" I remember muttering to my self, her name in the game was JACK wasn't it? It continued on as if Pika was the one speaking:

'Why did you leave her?'
'Didn't you love her?'
'YES/NO'

I hit yes, of course, I loved Ally, she was my daughter, and I can honestly say I love her. It continued:

'Then why…did you abandoned her? She loved you, but you left her, so why?'

The screen flashed and the text said:

'WHY THEN WHY?!!'

The Pikachu image changed when the screen flashed from and angry one to what I could tell a snarling Pikachu with its fur standing up and it looking furiously at me.

'WHY DID YOU LEAVE HER?!?!!'

"I didn't leave her!" I loudly said to the game, and trying to keep in mind that Pika wasn't real.

'YES YOU DID! SHE TOLD ME!...She told me and Pikachu everything, how you left her with them!'

Did Ally really tell this game how she felt when she was little? But that couldn't be true, its just a game isn't it? And who was 'Pikachu'? Wasn't Pika 'Pikachu'? And almost as if it could read my mind Pika said:

'She told me and Pikachu from -HEY YOU- everything! How you left and how they treated her! How a so called SUPERIOR RACE to other animals treated one of its own!'

"What, what do you mean?" I asked worryingly, Ally never told me anything that sounded like this.

'Really?! You don't know?!?!? Aren't you her so called mother?!?!?!?!?!??!!??!!!!!!
You didn't know how they called her stupid and worthless?!?!
How they mocked her for odd ways?!?!
How they would ignore her for being different?!?!?!!!
How they treated her?!?!?!!!!
Why no one would invite here to any thing fun?!?!?!!!'

My heart felt heavy, and I felt as if I was about to cry. Pika continued on:

'What about your family?!!
Do you know about them?!?!?!?!!!!
They made her scared of everyone!!!
They said everyone was evil and would hurt her!!!
They even called her stupid like the others!!!
Do you know?!?! dO yOu kNOw?!?!!'

I could feel the tears beginning, and I choked out, "No, I didn't know,"

'wELl NOw yOu DO kNOw!!!
And tHAt yOu cAn't just sHOw up aNd be hEr mOtHeR AFter aLL tHOse yeArs!!
BUT ME AND PIKACHU KNOW!!
CAUse wE wERe tHeRe for Her!!
We CHEERED hEr Up WhEn shE wAS dOWn! NOT YOU!!!'

I began to cry and feel sick to my stomach, but I still continued to read on:

'yOu tH!nk you [an nOW just sHOW
uP AnD maKe EVerytH!nG BetTeR?!

YOu re wRonG!!!//!/!:!

PIKACHU mAY bE GONe, bUt i Am StilL HeRe!!

I wI/L tAke CaRe Of ALLY, wHo !S oUr dAUgHter!!!

NOt yOurS!!!/!////!!//:;!'

The game then screeched a Pikachu's cry and I threw it on Ally's bed, and ran out the room it to mine and cried, I don't remember how long, but after that I couldn't look at her in the eye for 2 weeks.

Today, I saw Ally drawing a Pikachu like creature; she told me it is what represents her in her drawings. And now I finally fully understand what Pika meant when it said that.

ALLY !S ThEIr dAUgHter, NOt MinE…
What's this? A deviation? But isn't my scanner broken?:omfg:

But that doesn't mean I can't submit literature.XD *Is stabbed in the head*

Any who, some time ago I fell in love with creepy Pokemon stories and wrote this. I then forgot about until today when I was working on a project.XD

Also I do have artwork for this, but without a scanner I can't put it up with this, and I really wanted to update my gallery with at least something, so here.XD

I don't know how good it is so constructive criticism is wanted please.:)

This story is told in the perspective of a mother and how she see's things. The summary for of the story is this: Ally's mother wasn't really ever there for her, but now that she can be, she wants too, but Ally's Pikachu, Pika, have other plans for her.

Also sorry if you can't read some of the Pokemon's text, i wanted it to seem as if the game was becoming corrupted a little by how angry Pika is.^^;

Edit: I've uploaded the preview image to freak you all out now!:D
